My favorite teaching experience was actually my entire highschool with my drama teacher. He taught me confidence, character and class.

That is a great giveaway since I'm not homeschooling I won't enter the giveaway and give others a better chance of winning.

When I think backon my learning time I think of it as teh best time of my life sofar.Have still to smile when I think how teachers were telling us the same thing and we use to laugh like mad seeing that as a joke.Propf that sometimes it is worth to listen to older ones;)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing is seeing the child's eyes light up! And when you can see that they are really understanding and learning!

ReplyDeleteI loved my 7th grade Social Studies teacher. She was so kind and her method of teaching was stellar. I'm 26 now and still remember her fondly!

I loved taking field trips during my school years, I always seemed to learn better when there was a hands on, real-life experience! Loved going to art museums especially.

My favourite teaching experience is my first day as a teacher. I was extremely nervous but I had promised that kids that if we work together well on the first day we can play some games to get to know each other in the afternoon. It was fantastic!

ReplyDeleteI am teaching my 3 young girls and when my Tabitha finally started blending sounds to read I was thrilled. She was only three, but she was blending/reading words I typed on the computer, she would say a word by sounding it out and signing the letters as she went (not looking at the word, but just out of the blue).

My greatest teaching experience is being able to allow my daughter to move at her own pace and follow her interests. It's such a joy to see her thrive and enjoy learning and school!

My fav. teahcing moment came the other day when we were outside and I asked my preschooler who created the tree and he said Jesus. It was the first time he said the right answer with out me telling him. He also is getting the weather right!
