We go often to our local duck pond.We have also oen black swan in there. My daughter calles swan Mimi and is always angry when ducks snap all teh bread pieces
I love the ducks! We have mainly Canadian Geese here where we live in northern CA, it's fun to see ducks for a change! Thanks for stopping by for visit earlier:)
Ducks and geese are so cute to look at from far away. Up close is another matter. When I was in college there were tons of them around the heated pond next to campus. Moms would bring their little ones there with a loaf of bread. Pretty soon after they arrived the children would be crying, running, and screaming away from the attack ducks and geese. They are serious about bread and no toddler will stand in their way. It was funny then not so much now that I have my own toddler ;D
Thank you for stopping by .. we have a family of ducks that come to eat every day and then swim in our pool!!! Now I am trying to over chlorinate it and won't let my 9 yr old in - oh joy!
