I have had the amazing opportunity to review a Robby Wash Ball. The day I got my wash ball in the mail I could not wait to do laundry. Yep, I said that! I was excited to see how well it would clean my clothing. Oransi sent me a fuschia wash ball to try. The fuschia ball is for low temperature loads (32-90ºF) and the blue ball is for high temperature loads (32-180ºF). I was worried about how well it would clean and what would my laundry smell like when it was finished. I am very sensitive to most laundry detergent. I am asthmatic and perfume scents aggravate my asthma. So, when I read on the packaging that the Robby Wash Ball was hypoallergenic and would leave a light fresh scent I was a little skeptical.
Here is what Oransi sent me in the package.
The ball was already filled to the top with wash pellets. So, the three packages of pellets are for refills. When the ball is less than 75% full the instructions say to add more pellets. After washing the instructions say to place the ball in a dry airy place. This will let the pellets dry out and last longer. The wash ball also comes with a stain stick. This is great for all the little stains that I come across in the laundry that my family forgets to stain treat.
This is what Orasni says about the wash ball.
Oransi – http://www.oransi.com - has launched in the U.S. an ultra high efficiency hypoallergenic laundry detergent ball called "RobbyWash" with the following money-saving benefits:
10 ounces of Robby Wash ball replaces 75 lbs. of traditional laundry detergent - environmentally friendly.
One Robby Wash ball lasts up to 12 months. The ball itself will last 3 years.
One Robby Wash ball will save more than $100+ over 120 washes
One Robby Wash ball is only $32.95 and lasts one year. This includes refills and free stain stick.
It is eco-friendly, hypoallergenic and safe - commonly used in Europe with baby laundry (as well as adults' laundry).
Third party tested, proven and guaranteed to clean better than traditional powder laundry detergent.
OK, they got my attention! $32.95 and lasts one year!!! How can anyone pass up that savings.
So, do you really want to know how my laundry came out? My laundry came out clean, soft and had a very light clean scent. I could really do with out the scent. For now it has not bothered my asthma but I am always cautious on this point. I even washed a load of colored towels and they came out amazingly soft and clean. The stain stick worked well on a few stains on my cotton table cloth but it did not take out a tomato sauce stain. I am pretty sure that stain was set and old. It did not bother me that the stain stick did not get that specific stain out.
