Update: 21 Day Weight Loss Challenge

This is day 5 of  the 21 day challenge weight loss challenge created by Dustin Maher the author of the book Fit Moms For Life. I am proud to say I have been sticking with my diet and I have been exercising every day. I am really enjoying the cardio. After exercising I have a burst of energy and I am using that to its fullest extent. I felt like I was spring cleaning today. That is how much energy I had. Now for the strength training I am not loving it. I am working on it. I don't mind the hard work I just don't enjoy it as much as the cardio.

For week one we were also challenged to read something we enjoy for at least 10 minutes per day. I have not had a problem doing this since I love to read.
For this week the additional challenge is to have a 10 minute conversation with your spouse every day. Again I think that won't be a problem.
What are you doing to be healthy?

  3. Good for you on sticking to your diet. Great that you have energy.. sometimes diets can leave you tired and listless.

  4. Getting fit can truly impact every part of a person - mind, body and spirit. I've have been more fit in the past than I am today but I'm working on it! (Running a half marathon in three weeks!)

  5. I actually had the energy to clean the living room and sort out the kids toys the other day. Couldn't believe I wanted to clean. It was fantastic. Glad you are feeling the benefits too.

  6. I'm actually the other way around. I kinda enjoy the strength training. It's hard, but I feel the results, and can tell very easily when I've made progress. I haven't quite gotten the spring cleaning bug that y'all seem to be catching with this, maybe it'll catch up to me! :)

  7. Way to go it sounds like you are doing great.
I'm not doing anything at t he moment to stay healthy except taking vitamins and supplements. As soon as I get over this cold and strep throat I'm going to start walking again.

  8. Sounds very cool! I'm the opposite of you, though. I'm loving strength training. But, I'm using the Nautilus machines at the gym. So, I think that helps me stay motivated! Hope you have a great week, Bonnie!
