Green Initiative At Shoplet.com

Would you like to join me in learning how to be green in the office. I have been working on making our family a little more green lately. This has not been an easy task for my family. If you ask them, "Why be so stubborn about changing to green products?" You would hear the reply, "I like what I know!" I decided it's time to green up our home office and I am not taking no for an answer. So, now I am on the look out for green supplies for our office.
I have been reviewing products for Shoplet.com for a while now. I have found them to be a leader in moral responsibility for providing eco-friendly products to customers. I have been impressed with their exemplary model of helping to change the industry one step at a time. I do believe it is the responsibility of everyone to live as eco-friendly as possible. Our children's future depends on our green efforts. We all need to set a good example for our young children. If we teach them while they are young it will be second nature for them to live eco-friendly.
Shoplet.com is leading the way with a selection of over 8,000 products that are green.
You can read about some of these products I have reviewed recently on my right side bar. I am going to share with you how easy it is to green up your office.  When shopping for green products it does not have to be hard. I like when a company makes it easy for me to find the products I need. So, when I say its easy I mean it is as simple as a click of a button. First shop for your favorite products and place them in your cart.
Now, with the green your cart feature if there is an alternative eco-friendly product you can simply select the “See the Green Alternative” button that you will be able to see in your shopping cart. Once you click the button, it will take you to another page  If you decide you would like the alternative product you just have to click “Update Cart with Selected Items”.  You can see by the screen shots below how easy it is to green you cart. I think this feature is by far one of the easiest ways when making green choices. By shopping this way you will be able to green your office in no time at all.

Making a search for green products is also made simple by the click of a button. Search for any product in Shoplet's search query box. The “Green Your Search” green button will be available on the left side of the page. Select the green button and this will bring up the same page except with only eco-friendly products that you will be able to identify with the green recycling symbol at the bottom right of the product.
Do your office co-workers need a little convincing to join your efforts in becoming green? Shoplet is unique when it comes to engaging customers and providing all the information you may need to understand the impact your green purchase has on our environment. For example when a customer purchases recycled items, Shoplet is able to show how many trees, CO2, water and BTUs that shoppers have helped save by making green purchases. If you are just beginning to change your purchases to green and want to start out very simple. I suggest to start by changing out your regular office paper to recycled paper.
I am expecting my family to start out taking baby steps while they are learning how to shop green. Making smaller purchases and choosing products that are not completely different from the office supplies they normally use will make the experience as painless as possible. I am challenging my family, friends and readers to become aware of the green product choices around them. Change one purchase you make to be green. I am looking forward to sharing my green office with my readers in the future.

  1. What a great review. I'm trying to go green in my home office as well. It is hard to break out of the habit of not checking for eco-friendly products but I'm trying to remember.

  4. I like buying recycled things. I like seeing that packaging is recycled. BTW make sure you wash those reusable grocery bags. They can carry bacteria.
