I requested to review this book because I have grandchildren that are at the age to receive vaccinations. I believe it is important to read and investigate all medical procedures that we allow to be preformed on our self or our family. Having been a Birth Doula I have seen time and time again people allowing medical personal to preform medical procedures with out asking one question. Even when the person did not want the procedure to be preformed I have had them tell me "Well, the doctor said I have to. So it does not matter what I wanted." I can only say that it is your right to say NO to any medical procedure for yourself or your child! OK now that I finished my little rant we can get onto why I am reviewing this book. I feel that my family needs to understand and feel comfortable with the vaccination choices they make as parents. When it comes to vaccinating or not vaccinating their children (my grandchildren) they need to make an informed choice and not a blind choice. I have researched on the Internet and read many article for and against vaccination. I think it is better to research for the safety of my grandchildren. Please keep in mind I am not against vaccinations. I am for informed choice.
Markus Heinze wrote the book VACCeptable Injuries after his daughter was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes at the age of three and a half years old. type-1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease.
Markus has completed extensive research in scientific journals and federal databases on the safety of vaccinations. The evidence he found will be of interest to many parents.
With every fact or claim he makes in this book he provides the source of his reference. This gave me the opportunity to look the information up myself and to understand the information in context.
Markus Heinze does not advocate that everyone follow his path and not vaccinate their children just because he tells you how they may harm your child. What he advocates is that you do the research and make an informed decision yourself instead of jumping on a bandwagon and going for a one for all ride.
I would like to share a paragraph from the book here for you to read for yourself.
" In an article from the neural Dynamics Research Group, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, The authors write. "Immune challenges during early development, including those vaccine- induced, can lead to permanent detrimental alterations of the brain and immune function. Experimental evidence also shows that simultaneous administration of as little as two or three immune adjuvants can overcome genetic resistance to autoimmunity."58 This means that adjuvants in every vaccine may very well cause autoimmune diseases in your child.

I have always wondered how safe some of the vaccanations are. Some of them I know are good to get, but others I question.
ReplyDeleteI have done a lot of research on vaccinations when I was pregnant with my first. I wanted to make an informed decision. I am happy that I took the time to become educated on this subject.
