I received this card to try from Card.com. First I went to their website and selected my favorite design from their thousands of designs available. I took my time going through page after page. I wanted the perfect design that I would be happy to carry. After many pages I found the support our troops design and did not have a need to look further. Each time I use my card I remember to be thankful for the sacrifice our troops have made. Now with that said let me get to how easy this card is to use.

Load Money Onto Your Card
Use direct deposit, Green Dot MoneyPak, Western Union or photo-capture a check with a phone app. You select the way the is easiest for you.
Step Three
Shop without worry! The card works like any other debit card.
When you receive your card in the mail you will first need to activate it. It is very simple just a quick automated call or activate it online. Again you select the option that is easiest for you.
Loading the card with money is very simple and can be used right away. Off we went to try our new card.

I think this is a safe and easy way to carry money safely while we travel. I am very happy with my new Visa Prepaid Debit card.
We won't use Debit cards at all ---and prefer Credit Cards (which we totally pay off each month to keep from paying interest).... Do you know why???? If someone steals your credit card info --and racks up alot of purchases, you are not liable for that money spent on your card... If someone steals your debit card info and cleans out your checking account, you CANNOT get any of that money back....That's why we prefer credit cards... The key is to pay them off each month!

I use prepaid card on itunes because my account there got hacked once and someone blew through everythingvthat was in my paypal account..it was hundreds of dolkars but I did get it back.
ReplyDeleteI don't use any cards, but my Hubs does. Not sure what he uses either. I let him handle all that stuff. Less stress for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the information. We use a credit card that gives us money back and then we pay it off in total every month to avoid interest rates. However, I know many people who do not like using credit cards and I can see how a card like VISA Prepaid Debit Card would be a good option for them.
