Do You Need A Looster Booster?

Oh my goodness! A booster for your throne. This is a product no potty training parent should be with out. Having a toddler in the house that is fully potty trained often means a step stool by the toilet. Pooh Bear is potty trained and uses a step stool to get up onto the toilet. His parents or my self have to supervise when he uses the toilet instead of his potty chair. I have often caught him falling off the edge of the foot stool if he steps down wrong.
The minute I received the Looster Booster to review I was impressed. I had to immediately set it in the bathroom and ask Pooh Bear to give it a try. Of course Pooh Bear wanted to play on the booster and not sit on the potty.

The Looster Booster is sturdy, has a wide base and circles the sides and front of the toilet. A child can get up and down from the front or side with out tipping. The booster does not have to be moved for an adult to use the toilet. The top of the booster has raised letters which prevent slipping.

What are my thought about this product? I love the idea of a stable place for toddlers to plant their feet while on the toilet. Can you remember when you were small and your feet were dangling while on the potty. First off it is not a secure feeling. That is why many small children grip the sides of the toilet seat. Second after dangling for a few minutes the blood flow in our legs is restricted a bit. When this happens and a child steps off onto the floor they can easily loose their balance with unsteady legs. By using the Looster Booster your child will feel secure and comfortable.
What do I like most about the product? It is made in the USA! The Looster Booster has non-slip grippers on the underside. Making this on secure stepping stool for the toilet.

Nap Time Troubles

I really do like nap time. My grandson stopped his morning nap right after he turned one. It was sad to say good bye to his morning nap. But we all understood he was getting older and did not need all that sleep. He is now 21 months old and his afternoon nap is slowly fading away. He still naps most of the time but he has moved his nap to after 1pm. That is fine with me as long as he gets a nap I am happy. If he does not nap he is one crabby apple. Here is the problem.  Pooh Bear has started skipping his nap once or twice a week and this is really tough. The side affects are rotten!  First, the crankiness we can do with out. Second, mommy needs her quiet time and grandma needs her blog time! Third, when he misses his nap he wants to sleep by 6pm. We would not mind so much but that will throw off tomorrows schedule and he will wake up way to early! What's a grandma to do?  I am hoping we will find a solution soon. Any suggestions you have are very welcome.
