Shopping Online

I wasn't always a fan of online shopping. As only those who have been following Grandma Bonnie's Closet for a long while would know. I am an old fashioned shop in the store kind of gal. I enjoy the touch and feel while buying gifts for my family and friends. The one thing I do not like about shopping is the crowds in the stores. So I decided to embrace change and try shopping online a little more. I have learned to enjoy shopping online. I like to sit in my comfy chair, sip my cup of tea and just browse for hours on end. I have reaped the benefits of shipping to family and friends far from home. You all  know I have grandchildren spread out far and wide. What you may not know is I have family over seas in Europe and Asia. There was a time I would purchase gifts and ship over seas for birthdays and Christmas. If you have ever had the pleasure of shipped over seas you know the time and process of filling out customs forms. Not to mention the high cost of shipping. Often times shipping with out insurance. Well, I now have the answer to this problem thanks to Cultfurniture I found a great store that ships to UK and Europe. They have a large selection of modern furniture, accessories, clocks, and art work. I found the perfect coat hanger and pink office chair that would make a great graduation gift for my niece. She has just graduated from college and will be setting up her own office.
Cultfurniture accepts Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and other forms of payment. There shipping costs average from £5.95 to £15.95. With there shipping times estimated 3 to 7 days. You just can't beat an online shopping experience with easy and affordable shipping to the country of your choice. If you stop on over and visit their site you will find it easy to navigate. Pour yourself a cup of tea and plan to spend a little time browsing. Just don't say I didn't warn you. You may be there for a long while.
Do you enjoy shopping online? Do you have family over seas?

  1. I love shopping online. I too used to shop in stores but health problems have limited my ability to deal with the crowds and standing/walking is no longer an option. Although I shop online, I am careful where I buy from - having my favorites - and while I do not have family overseas, I do have a son, DIL and grandson who live about 1-1/2 hours away. I have shipped to them although we try to see each other often. Having 8 grandchildren I find it easier to shop online...the older ones even help me pick out what they want....

Not only do I shop online now, I even sell online...grandmas must go with the times these days....even if a little slower.

  3. I love shopping online. It is so easy to do with two young kids. We also have family over seas and I love finding stores that ship directly over seas. It is just so much easier than buying it and then having to ship it yourself and usually ends up being cheaper as well.

  4. Since I don't like to shop, online is perfect for me. I find what I want and get it without having to go into a store! Since I don't even like online shopping that much, I only do it when I already know what I want. No problem!

  5. I would rather shop in a store also where I can touch and feel what I am buying. I do shop for herbs online though because I can get a much better price.

  6. Funny thing....I never shop online. I have a lot of friends that do so, but I suppose I like shopping too much to buy online.
No family that lives abroad. Our area is so small that we all live within a 20 mile radius of one another. I take it back....my husband's brother lives in Dallas which is about 100 miles away. Boring!!

  7. Thanks for sharing, I really like the website, so much selection! The Toledo Nickel bar stool really stands out with its old school charm. You always share the best things, thank you.

  8. I love to shop online but I have to be careful as to what I buy. Sometimes things are a bit smaller than I thought or bigger. I have to watch and look at dimensions of things. I love free shipping as well. I love the furniture in the store you have posted. There are some really neat things in there.

  9. Shopping online is great when you can't find what you need locally. It can be so convenient that way!
