Woolzies Dryer Balls

I have one complaint about the Woolzies Dryer Balls! Why did I ever do laundry with out these dryer balls? Yes that is my complaint. I am a normal person who does not make changes easily. I usually stick with certain ways I do things. It is just a comfort to know what to expect from every day products. Well, I was reading about Woolzies Dryer Balls over at My Journey With Candida and I thought I might try and see what all the fuss over a wool dryer ball was about.
I received the dryer balls while visiting my granddaughters over the holidays. We tried the dryer balls with all sorts of clothing. My granddaughters blankets came out static free. My clothing was soft just like I might have used fabric softener(which I never use). Even my sons uniform came out great right from the dryer. The biggest plus I got with using the wool dryer balls was cutting dryer time on average 15 to 20 minutes per large load. I am betting that we will see a great savings on our energy bill from this month forward.

Woolzies Dryer Balls are made from 100% pure New Zealand wool. They are a great chemical free way to soften, reduce wrinkles, reduce static and drying time from your laundry. I hope you stop over and check out Woolzies on Facebook and see what all the fuse is about.

Gourmet Sea Salts From The Spice Lab

If you are looking for a unique gift for the special person then Gourmet Sea Salts might just be the gift you have been looking for. A few weeks ago I received a sample Sea Salt Collection from The Spice Lab. The collection included 4 flavored sea salts Himalayan Crystal Pink, Carolina Hickory, Cyprus White Flake and Hawaiian Black Lava. The sea salts come in Pyrex test tubes which are held in a handcrafted wood base. The package also includes a bamboo salt spoon and reference card that offers suggestions on using the sea salt with different foods.

I tested each flavor and my favorite has become the Cyprus White Flake sea salt. The large crystals are bursting with flavor. Just a little goes a long way.

The handy little reference card has been real helpful in knowing which flavors to use with my favorite foods.

The Spice Labs has over 180 jarred sea salts available and has salt plates, stones and lamps. You can follow The spice labs on Facebook to keep up to date on all their wonderful products.
Two of the spice lab products I am very interested in are the salt lamps and the bath salts. I really think they would make nice Valentines day, Mothers day or birthday gifts.

Merry Christmas

While off visiting my granddaughters we have caught the flu and have been down for a while. My granddaughters are now feeling much better. We are so thankful. As for myself I am still battling the bug and it may be a few more days until I am able to get back to my old self. I do promise once I start feeling well I will stop by and visit all my blog friends.
For now I am wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas.

Our Little Gingerbread House

We have been keeping busy, busy, busy. My granddaughters are enjoying our visit and having a blast. We made a gingerbread house and the girls had fun eating it for a few days.

Off To See The Grands

I have been very busy the last week grandpa and I traveled south to visit our granddaughters. I have been looking forward to this trip for some time. I will be staying about three weeks with my darling granddaughters. I should have some pictures as our visit progresses. Pumpkin has a kindergarten choir concert to sing in and the Nutcracker recital to dance in over the weekend. I have not been visiting your blogs but I will try to stop over if time permits in the mean time I hope you all enjoy this holiday season.
