Part 2 My Granddaughters Visit

I have been busy, busy and really busy. My granddaughters are keeping me on my toes. I am just loving every minute of it. I have a few more pictures to share. I hope you enjoy.
Pumpkin working on her reading skills. We keep her practicing her reading and writing skills.
Sweet Pea had to do her school work also. We are working on her coloring skills.
Lots of sand and sun.
Learning sand castle construction. Now that important!
We weeded and weeded. Then the girls had a lesson in how to tell when a radish is ready to pick. They picked radishes, tomatoes and a couple pepper plants! Yes, I said they picked a couple pepper plants. Grandma forgot to explain that pepper plants are like tomato plants. Just pick the fruit. Lol, they thought pepper plants were like radishes just grab the plant and pull. We had a good laugh, crossed our fingers and replanted the poor pepper plants. I guess you can take the girl out of the city but you can't take the city out of the girl. Ha ha!
How is your garden growing? Do you have any good pepper plants?

Our First Visit to Chick-fil-A

While on our last trip to visit our granddaughters we had a new experience! My daughter-in-law invited us out to Chick-fil-A. I had heard many nice things about Chick-fil-A. We just do not have any near our home. We really enjoyed the food. The costumer service was great. The place was clean. The food was awesome. I even liked the play area. I have never said that about any fast food play areas. The entire place was clean including the bathrooms, play area, and tables. Did I just repeat my self. That is how clean it was I am just amazed.

That is SweetPea. This is not her first time trying to climb in the play area. This is the first time she succeeded in climbing past the first level. She made it all the way to the top and used the slide. I was so happy to be there to wittiness her success.
That is Pumpkin and Pooh Bear. Isn't Pumpkin growing up. She is just so adorable and lady like. Now, this was Pooh Bears first time as you can see by the I am not thrilled look in his eyes. He decided it was ok as long as Pumpkin stayed with him.
This is Pooh Bear 30 minutes later. When it was time to leave he was the only one we had to bribe to come out.

Oh and if you all like Chick-fil-A you should stop over to my favorite blogger Terri's Little Haven. She has the most awesome Chick-fil-A giveaway going on right now. Hurry over and get some entries.

This was not a review of Chick-fil-A it was just a family adventure.

Family Fun

While on our trip to visit our granddaughters we celebrated Easter. I always like to celebrate the important holidays with each of our grandchildren. Many times that means we have to bring the holiday to them. We often celebrate before or after the holiday. We may even have two or three holiday events. This year we will have two Easters. Our granddaughters did not seem to mind having Easter early this year. I was so happy the weather permitted an egg hunt.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Just Fun

Little Bug stopped over for a visit.
We had a great time building a play house from a large box.

Then Little Bug changed the baby dolls diaper. He is working on potty training and wanted to help the baby. What a cutie he is.

We played so much today that grandma is all tuckered out!
I hope you all enjoyed your day as much as I have.

A Trip Home Again

I have some pictures from last weekend that I am happy to share with my blog friends. I went home last weekend for four days and had a wonderful time with all my grandchildren. I spend lots of time with Pooh Bear and many weekends with Little bug but I don't get to spend much time with my granddaughters Sweet-pea and Pumpkin. They traveled up north to visit for a long weekend also. The timing was perfect. Every minute I spent with each of them was so precious to me. I am thankful for each and every minute.

Although it was cold and rainy the whole weekend we did not let that stop us from having fun.
We visited an amusement park near our home.

We jumped on grandma and grandpas bed and got caught!
Their fear lasted about ten seconds and they all started jumping again.

We played music for everyone!

I am so thankful for my beautiful grandchildren. They are a precious gift from God. Thank you for letting me share my past weekend with all of you. Please enjoy your weekend and have fun.

Weekend Trip

Our local Fire Department had a fire safety event this weekend at the neighborhood Walgreens. My grandson and his father enjoyed sitting in the fire truck and playing games. He even brought home a fire safety coloring book.
